Visceral & Neural Manipulation

Revitalise your organs and nerves

Visceral Manipulation (VM) is a gentle manual therapy that frees up restrictions in the internal organs of the body, such as the liver, the stomach, the intestines and the kidneys. For optimum functioning, our internal organs are supposed to move and glide against each other. If one or more organs are restricted, we may experience pain. Sometimes, the pain that we feel can be far from the location that needs treatment because our bodies are capable of adapting and going into compensation patterns. Through VM, we address the restricted organ directly to restore its mobility, thereby allowing the Body as a whole to heal itself again.

Neural Manipulation (NM) assesses the mechanical relationships between the skull/spine hard frame to the dura and neural elements. For optimal function, nerves must be able to move freely within its surroundings. Through NM, we can identify nerve restrictions and release them to relief local as well as body-wide dysfunctional patterns.
