McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR) is an effective way of treating scar tissues, no matter how old the scars may be!

If you have a scar, you may experience the following symptoms:

  • Numbness or reduced sensation.

  • Chronic pain or pain that comes and goes.

  • Tingling or burning sensations.

  • Reduced range of movement, especially with scars near joints such as the shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, etc.

  • The scar and surrounding area lacks warmth, feels a bit "lifeless" or "asleep" compared to other areas of your body.

  • You may have emotional attachment to the scar, such as shame, anxiety, depression, fear, etc.

It is important to release the scar tissues because the presence of scar tissues often limit the effectiveness and results of other therapies.

MSTR is gentle, non-invasive and creates long-lasting results. Conditions that can benefit from scar tissue release include:

  • C-section, hysterectomy, laparoscopic surgical scars

  • Mastectomy, lumpectomy

  • Appendectomy, gallbladder removal

  • Amputations

  • Joint replacement scars (knee, hip, etc.)

  • Burn scars

  • Epidural injection sites and vaccination scars

  • Wounds from injuries such as lacerations, muscle tears

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Restricted / frozen shoulders
